A Spicy Mixer for Mixologists
We stay open well into the night in our Manchester Café, the Mackie Mayor. So our teas and coffees have been re-purposed for the night-time revellers. We have now built a great reputation and a huge following for our range of Tea and Coffee inspired cocktails. With such a unique blend of flavours it wasn’t long before we found a home for the Spiced Rooibos in one of the world’s most iconic cocktails, the Negroni.
A Contemporary Twist on a Classic
Legend has it the classic recipe was cooked up at Caffè Casoni in Florence. Count Camillo Negroni asked for a stronger version of the Americano. In cocktail terms this is Campari, sweet Vermouth and soda. They achieved this heftier brew by replacing soda water with gin. We merely enhanced this already ruby-toned cocktail a stage further with the addition of our topaz-coloured Spiced Rooibos infusion.
