This Coffee Taster Pack is designed to showcase all the different flavour attributes that can be found in great, speciality coffees. Perfect for the coffee drinker interested in trying something new.
Christmas Blend
For our Christmas Blend coffee we’re showcasing two natural process coffees from neighbouring East African origins, Rwanda and Uganda. From Rwanda we have old favourite, Kinini Natural, bringing fruit flavours like cranberry, sultanas and apricot. From Uganda, we have a producer that we started to work with just this year. This lot is the Karambi from Rwenzori Coop, a clean and balanced natural with subtle fruit flavours and sweet, caramel and milk chocolate notes with a hint of hazelnut.
Costa La Cumbre
Café La Cumbre, this is great example of a classic type of coffee from Costa Rica. The honey process is typical due to the amount of rainfall and topography and the variety Catuai is one of Costa Rica’s favourite to grow! The flavour profile is also a great example of this style, the mouthfeel is super clean and refreshing with a delicate acidity and medium body. We’re enjoying flavour notes similar to red currants, dried apricots and a soft sweetness like fudge.
Archetype Espresso
The flavour profile of Archetype is all about big body, dark chocolate and caramel with a medium to low acidity. As an espresso it’s easy going and reliable, we like to pull shots of it short and strong to maximise that syrupy mouthfeel and bring out notes hazelnut, coco and molasses.
Rumudamo
This washed lot from Rumudamo is a great example of what we love in a washed Ethiopian. When enjoying it black, it’s delicate and tea-like with lots of sweetness and a bright acidity. We’re really enjoying flavours that remind us of peach, lingonberry (or at least the Ikea cordial version!) soft florals like orange blossom and chamomile and a sweet, creamy note like dulce de leche.
Each bag in this coffee sample pack comes in 80g bags of beans, enough for 4-5 cups each. If you would like any of your coffees ground, just leave a note in the delivery notes box at checkout
