Q. My Espresso shots are pouring slower than usual and taking a long time to extract.
A. Your grinder might grinding your coffee too fine. Try making your grind setting coarser by loosening the grind, turning anti-clockwise.
Q. Do supply Branded Atkinsons Crockery?
A. Yes we supply 3oz espresso cups, 6oz cappuccino cups and 9oz.
Q. Do you supply barista training?
A. Yes we can arrange for a few members of your team to visit us for a training session at our roastery for a 2 hour slot, Tuesday – Friday in the morning or afternoon. Training is free and we we will pitch the session to suit your level. Get in touch for more information.
Q. There is a problem with my espresso machine. Can you help?
A. Contact us and we we can arrange a good time to visit or recommend an engineer for you.
Q. How often does my machine need servicing?
A. At least every 12 months. Ring local coffee engineer we can recommend one.
Q. Can I request my coffee to be delivered on a certain day?
A. Yes, we use DPD 24 hour shipping for all our wholesale orders. Orders placed on Thursday after 12pm we be sent on the following Monday but we can arrange for a weekend delivery at an extra cost.
Q. Why is the coffee is usually buy out of stock?
A. All our coffees are subject to seasonality. We buy coffees when they are at their best, just after they have been harvested. Nothern Hemisphere coffees are harvested in our Winter and arrive in the Spring and vice versa for Southern Hemisphere coffees. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if there is a particular type of coffee you are looking for and we will make a recommendation .
Q. When is the best time to place orders?
A. Place your orders anytime online day or night or between 9am-5pm Monday – Thursday over the phone. If you would like your coffee before the weekend, place your order before 12pm Thursday.
