Japanese Sencha is an example of a tea that has been enjoyed in the Orient for over 5,000 years. The high quality grade of leaves delivers a delicate drink full of natures benefits. Lower in caffeine and full of antioxidants, it can even help with weight loss! Technically this is a “Japanese Sencha Fukujyu” meaning “Green Spider Legs” and is grown in the foothills of Mount Fuji. Japanese Sencha is made up from the new shoots of the plant, the first and second flush giving more flavour complexity in the tea. Once brewed you can expect a golden green liquor with some refreshing, grassy notes and faint citrus sweetness.
