Our Darjeeling First Flush is the top grade FTGFOPI being the Finest, Tippy, Golden, Flowery, Orange and Pekoe you can buy. To qualify for being designated as Darjeeling First Flush the harvest has to be from around mid-March to April. Just as you only ever get one chance to make a first impression, so we only get one opportunity a year to pick the first green shoots of spring, while the bush is in its First Flush of youth. Our version of this celebrated tea is sourced from various gardens in Darjeeling. Whilst we can’t say it gives you an uplifting sensation of rising sap, we do know you are drinking the essence of springtime in the Himalayan foothills and as such a light, fluffy, purifying infusion of Youth!
